Polyvinyl Alcohol Powder ( PVA 2488 ) series of products is specializedin construction industry as an additive in all kinds of dry powder putty, dry mortar, tile adhesive, especially used for building putty and Mortar, improving the flexibility, water retention and increase viscosity of mortar and putty.It’s adhesion very good and used to be widely with paper making, sizing material for adhesive, film, and dry mortar field. Application scope and function It is mainly used in putty powder and mortar of internal and external walls, which can play a bonding role, improve its flexibility, water retention, reduce friction, and enhance work efficiency and quality. The tensile strength of polymer resin film formed by polyvinyl alcohol is much higher than that of hydraulic materials, which enhances the self strength of putty, that is, the cohesion is improved. Due to the flexibility of the polymer, the deformation capacity is much higher than the rigid structure formed by hydraulic materials, which can improve the deformation capacity of the putty and greatly improve the effect of dispersing stress, so as to improve the crack resistance of the putty.
